About This Place

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Tampa at 4138 W Boy Scout Blvd, Del Frisco's Grille offers an elevated yet approachable dining experience that blends the best of classic American steakhouse fare with a contemporary coastal twist. Celebrated as both a steakhouse and seafood restaurant, this refined American grill invites guests to savor rich, indulgent flavors in a lively yet sophisticated setting that perfectly balances fine dining with a welcoming neighborhood vibe.

Del Frisco’s Grille prides itself on a diverse menu that caters to lovers of robust, hearty dishes as well as those seeking fresh, lighter flavors. Standout plates like the USDA Prime Chopped Steak deliver mouthwatering juiciness with every bite, while the Braised Short Rib melts off the fork in a symphony of deep, savory notes. Seafood aficionados will delight in the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake and the elegant Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, both crafted to highlight the ocean’s best offerings with refined simplicity.

The culinary team masterfully elevates traditional American dishes with thoughtful touches that awaken the palate. The Truffled Mac & Cheese is a decadent revelation—luxuriously creamy with just the right hint of earthy truffle flavor—earning well-deserved praise from guests who call it “truly fantastic.” For starters, creative appetizers like Cheesesteak Eggrolls and Del’s Deviled Eggs offer bursts of texture and savory goodness that tease the senses and set the stage for the meal to come.

Diners looking for a fresh, crisp complement to their entrée will find the Steakhouse Salad and Iceberg Lettuce Wedge perfectly balanced, while the Crispy Brussels Sprouts have become a favorite side, lauded for their golden, satisfying crunch and savory glaze. Not to be missed is their thoughtfully crafted cocktail menu—the Grille Margarita delivers a bright and refreshing kick that perfectly complements the rich, hearty flavors of the cuisine.

Beyond the exquisite dishes, one of Del Frisco’s Grille’s greatest assets is its atmosphere. Guests consistently note the inviting ambiance—an upbeat yet refined setting that effortlessly suits a casual brunch, a celebratory dinner, or a relaxed gathering with friends. The service shines as well, with attentive and knowledgeable staff like Michelle, who received heartfelt praise for her warmth and professionalism, ensuring every visit feels personalized and well cared for.

For those on the go, the Grille’s thoughtfully curated box lunch options offer unbeatable convenience without compromise—at just $15 per option, these meals come with the added feel-good factor of giving back, as every two box lunches purchased results in a donation to a First Responder or Essential Worker.

Whether you’re settling in for a weekend brunch, indulging in a prime ribeye with that perfectly charred crust, or enjoying one of their irresistible desserts like the silky Coconut Cream Pie or the seasonal Berry Cobbler, Del Frisco’s Grille invites you into a world where classic American flavors meet fresh innovation. It’s a steakhouse experience that excites the palate, comforts the soul, and leaves you already anticipating your next visit.

Amazing appetizers, drinks and desserts. My favorite Hummus, stake egg rolls, Deviled eggs and artichoke dip. Delicious dessert options!

It's one of my all-time favorite restaurants! The steak frites were delish and cooked to perfection! Loved the chimichuri on top. The mac n cheese is truly fantastic!!!! I will never not order that when I dine here. The brussel sprouts pair perfectly with any steak if you don't want asparagus. The savory sauce is really good. My favorite fish is branzino, and they cooked it to perfection l. I love the cream sauce that accompanies the fish, too. I know they may change their dessert menu, but if you get a chance to try the lemon butter cake, please do! So yummy! Our server, Shannon, was phenomenal as well.

Tonight was my wife and I first time trying Del Frisco’s Grille. I first want to express the customer service we experience with our waiter “ Michelle “. She was very kind, patient, and professional. Give her a raise, she deserves it. She was very helpful the entire night and took care of us from the start. The food was amazing and the drinks were on point. The location was such a vibe and very nice restaurant. I would suggest this to anyone to come out and experience. You can’t go wrong.

Atmosphere was good, bathrooms were nice and very clean. Our service with Ethan was good for the most part, took a little bit to get a refill and it wasn't busy yet. The food was decent. The lobster tail is very small for the price to add it on... my husbands steak was overcooked as well but he is a suffer in silence type. We ordered the berry cobbler for dessert and it was amazing! Would order that again!

Accidentally booked this place thinking it was Del Monicos’ and not Del Friscos , but I’m glad we did. The prime ribeye was . The perfect cut, perfect temp, and some of the best crust I’ve seen on a steak, even comparing to some higher-end places. That steak was juicy too boy… so good. I paired it up with the truffle mac& cheese which was also really good and actually had truffle flavor, which you dont get at most places . All that washed down with the Pino Noir they had on the menu(forgot the name). Overall, solid dinner. Our server was amazing. I wish I remembered her name so I could give her credit. Super friendly, answered all of our questions about the menu. Even got me a sample of the Pino just to make sure I liked it before I ordered it. Next time I’m in Tampa, very likely I’ll go back.

Upscale dining experience as far as the food is concerned; however, it is loud, bright, and busy, so it's difficult to have a romantic evening or quiet dinner conversation. Feels like you are sitting at an Applebee's, but trust me the tab doesn't feel that way. Nothing like the Del Frisco's in Dallas btw. Our food was prepared well and served quickly. The server was pleasant and receptive. Nothing overly impactful about our evening or experience. We enjoyed our cheesecake dessert. Good wine and bourbon selection. For a party of two with only two cocktails each, I didn't expect a $300 tab. Overall, it was a good dinner.. They just need to up the ambiance to match the food quality and prices. Saw parties of all sizes, so clearly able to accommodate groups. Highly recommend reservations. Given the plethora of upscale steak houses in the area, we will go someplace else next time.

What a great spot! We stopped in after work with a few colleagues and were all really impressed. Everyone loved their drinks, and the appetizer selection was a solid 10/10 — highly recommend the artichokes! For dinner, I had the shaved steak sandwich and it was prepared so well. They also had seasonal cocktails and desserts, and I think we ended up trying one of each Shoutout to our server, Steve — he was awesome and made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!

Greeted warmly. Comfortable atmosphere. Attentive waitstaff and very tasty food. I can speak to the crab cake eggs Benedict. They were delicious!! Hash browns were flavorful with the just right amount of well cooked potato crust. I got a side of fruit, could only eat half , because the meal was deliciously satisfying. Service was prompt , friendly. A positive experience all the way!
